It’s called the Sit Up but don’t let that put you off!

The posture:
In between poses we do a sit-up to invigorate the body. It provides a quick stretch to the hamstrings and also helps to prepare and open the lower back and legs for the final stretching pose at the end of class.

There is a double-exhale breath, which helps to release toxins from the lungs and energizes the body in between the poses.

• Stretches hamstrings, calf muscles & Achilles tendons
• Stimulates diaphragm.
